Purpose
The MSM31122 Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing is a trade level qualification that provides the skills and knowledge needed to manufacture recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers.
25 units of competency are covered including chassis construction, body assembly, fittings, window and door installation, awnings, appliances, lighting, and more. The course ensures compliance with Australian roadworthiness, Australian Design Rules, and safety standards, preparing graduates for a career in the RV manufacturing industry.
The qualification is delivered under the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) guidelines over a minimum of 18 months of blended learning and workplace assessments. Government incentives are available for both employers and employees.

Construction of components including furniture and the caravan or RV Internal and external fitout including aluminium
Windows and hatches installation

Sealing of the caravan or RV
Electrical work
Carry out construction of components including furniture and frames for the caravan or RV

Attachment of caravan components including windows, doors, siding, Upholstery and other external and internal components
Testing and certification of a caravan or RV.
